Attorney Ledricka Thierry was born September 23, 1978 in

Opelousas, Louisiana and has made St. Landr y Parish her home

every since. A 1996 G raduate of North Central High School, she

holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from

Southern University A&M and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from

Southern University Law Center. B y the age of 24, she was a

licensed attorney in the State of Louisiana.

A fter graduation she came back to the community she

loves and that helped build her foundation. T o show her

appreciation for the community, she opened a free tax preparation

IRS Vita site in St. Landry Parish. C urrently, Attorney Thierry is

the first female to ever represent District 40 as a Louisiana State

Representative.

I n addition, Attorney Thierry is a proud wife, mother, and business

owner in St. Landry Parish. S he is married to Travis K. Thierry

and mother to Madison Nicole Thierry. She also owns Thierry

Insurance Agency and Thierry and Associates Law Firm.
