What is the cost of Rental and what does it include?
The total cost of renting the Yamatorium is $1350 and it includes the use of tables and chairs, and janitorial services.
Do you require any deposits?
Yes, upon booking your date, we require a $500 deposit (to hold your date). This is deducted from the total cost of $1350. Upon picking up the keys to the building, the balance of $850 is due.
Do you require a damage deposit?
Yes. A separate payment of $250 - $500 is collected for damage (depending on the type of rental). When the key to the building is returned and if there is no damage to the building, the damage deposit will be returned to you.
Do we need to clean the Auditorium?
No, janitorial services are included in the rental price. However, renters are asked to clear the Auditorium of ALL trash and place it in the dumpster.
How do I book the building?

I have tried calling, but I am unable to get a response, what do I do?
Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM through 12:00 Noon. If you have left a message, and did not receive a call back, please contact us by email. Although office hours are three days a week, email is checked daily.
I need to set up for my function the day before. Is there a charge for that?
Yes. There is a $250 fee for setting up the day before. **This may change, please ask about this if you need to set up the previous day**
If I choose to rent the buildinng, how long do I have it?
The building is yours from 7:00 AM until 3:00 AM
How large is your building?
The Yamatoirum is 12,500 square feet which makes it the largest venue in Opelousas.
Is the building in good condition?
The Louisiana Yambilee Festival is going into our 67th year, so our Yamatorium has seen many years. Renovations have begun and we are slowly making necessary improvements.
