According to Louisiana Yambilee President Joe Robison, the Yambilee Board of Directors has chosen Mr. Ronald Carriere to reign as the 62nd Annual Louisiana Yambilee King. Ronald is a lifelong resident of Opelousas and a 1966 graduate of Opelousas High School. He is co-owner of Bodemuller The Printer, Inc. and has served as President of the Company for the past sixteen years with a total of forty three years with the Company. He has served several years on the Board of Directors for the Opelousas St. Landry Parish Chamber of Commerce as well as the Louisiana Yambilee Board. Mr. Carriere was named “Business Person of the Year” in 1995 and after serving as their 2002 Parade Marshal, is honored to be asked to serve the Yambilee Association again as their 2007 Yambilee King.

He has served the Chamber well by his dedication and spirit as Trade Show chairperson for five consecutive years. Mr. Carriere continues to serve as an avid promoter of businesses and volunteer efforts that promote the city of Opelousas and benefit it’s residents.
