Grand Louisiyam Parade
The Louisiana Yambilee Parade is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 1:00 PM..

Parade Route
The Parade will begin on Lanrdry Street then South onto Main Street and will continue down to Union Street to Donald Gardner Stadium.
We hope to see everyone following the Parade on our Festival Grounds at Evangeline Downs.

Our festival is fast approaching and we would like to invite you to be a vendor at our Marketplace! Arts & Crafts, Gift Items, Food Booths, Home Décor and Plants will be presented in a new “Marketplace” concept on the grounds at Evangeline Downs.

We are presently preparing for our cooked foods show being held in conjunction with the 63nd Annual Louisiana Yambilee Festival and the City of Opelousas Visitor’s Center Music and Market. This event will be held Friday, October 24, 2008. Registration will begin at 1:15 PM with judging at 4:15 PM.
 

The cooked foods/yam-i-mals competition will take place at the Farmers Market at Landry Street and Vine Street. While you are waiting, sit back and listen to great live music. We are looking forward to your participation.
